Aloha, dive family! September was a big month at Lu’uLive. Between pitching at Blue Startups Demo Day, unveiling two new SurfCams at Publics and Ko Olina, and weathering another storm, we’ve had plenty to keep us busy! Here is what we have been up to over the past month:
SurfCam Network Expansion
New SurfCams: Officially LIVE at Publics and Ko Olina! Publics is an iconic surf spot contained within the Marine Life Conservation District, just offshore of the Waikiki Aquarium. The Ko Olina SurfCam is the first and only live video stream of the West Oahu coastline. You can use this cam to infer conditions at other nearby westside spots like Electric Beach.

- Blue Startups Demo Day: Our founder, Matt, delivered the Lu’uLive pitch to an enthusiastic audience! Mahalo to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and connected with us.

- Learning and Growing: September’s Blue Startups workshops covered everything from storytelling and marketing to leadership and fundraising. Next up, Matt heads to San Francisco with the cohort to wrap up a productive accelerator program.
- Giving Back: We joined the Blue Startups crew for a volunteer loʻi day at Ulupō Heiau in Kailua. It was a chance to step away from our screens and spend time caring for the ʻāina.
